Introducing our new Covid Caring Plan
Dear Valued Clients, Families and Colleagues:
In recognition that families are struggling with how best to help home-bound elders stay healthy, safe and connected, Aging Well Rochester has joined forces with Home Instead Senior Care, a well- respected licensed home care agency, to offer a new comprehensive program of oversight and support for elders residing in Monroe County. Our “Covid Caring Plan” is an integrated offering that provides Professional Care Management, the use of a personalized tablet for interactive remote communications, and in-home care services based on your loved one’s needs. For further information please refer to the downloadable handout below.
I want to assure you our Team at Aging Well Rochester is focused on reaffirming our commitment that every life is valuable. We are aware of the emotional needs of elders and doing our very best to reassure and support. We know that it is extremely stressful for our care giving families to not have access to loved ones that reside in senior care residences. We recognize that out of town families are extremely concerned about elders who may live alone and are especially vulnerable during this time. We are here for you; to discuss your concerns, to provide advocacy and support to the elders you care about.
Please be assured that despite the limitations that are imposed in care settings, our team is working collaboratively to implement creative adaptations that will help to ensure that our Social Workers and Registered Nurses can continue to meet the needs of our clients. These include, but are not limited to, telephone contact and video conferencing in place of in-person visits.
I send you my sincere wishes for peace of mind and good health. May our heroic health care professionals be blessed with continued courage to help those in need. May God send complete healing to those who need healing. And may each one of you find peace of mind and good health.
